Let’s not get confused, IT WAS
THE STATE. Tlatelolco, Aguas Blancas, Acteal, Atenco, Tlatlaya, Ayotzinapa: IT
WAS THE STATE, not drug dealers. Mexico has a long list of state crimes, and
the victims have not had justice in any of them, not because of the lack of
demand, but because of the greedy governments.
Mexicans have been demanding a
change for a long a time, we are not asleep, we know what is happening and we
fight against it, sometimes pacifically, sometimes not, but it has never
worked. The political class is so cynical that they continue in the power
despite the countless protests against them.
It is well known that Gustavo
Diaz Ordaz, ordered the massacre of hundreds of students in 1968, and that
media covered it all up; nobody was found guilty. It is well known that Ernesto
Zedillo ordered the massacre of indigenous people in Acteal; nobody faced
trial. It is well known that the corruption in the government caused the dead
of 49 children in a daycare center in Sonora; nobody was even fired. The 43 students
massacre in Ayotzinapa it is not new for us, in Mexico it is punished to be
indigenous, student, independent journalist, woman, peasant. It is punished
with dead to fight for a better living, for a more just country, and media will
cover it all up for the government.
The government, TV broadcasters,
military, police and drug dealers are the same thing. And this did not start
with the so called “War on drugs” that Felipe Calderon “started”. The war on
drugs was just a failed desperate attempt of the government to try to get
people’s confidence after the electoral fraud where he was declared president. Now
they try to blame all the violence on the drug dealers, but they are behind the
drug dealers.
There is no democracy in Mexico,
Mexico is a silent dictatorship where demanding justice is punished with dead.
It tries to give the appearance of a developing country thriving into the developed
world. That is not true, every year more people die of hunger, more people has
no job or no school, and things never get better. Any of the Mexican presidents
have been elected in clean democratic elections, people do not get to choose
what they want.
Still, let’s not get confused, it
was the state, we know it and we act against it. And we will not get tired of fighting
against these killing government. If we don’t get no justice, they don’t get no
peace.
